GEMAFI (General Equilibrium, Macroeconomics and Finance) meetings 2006-7

Last modified: 29/11/06

The idea
This is a joint initiative of Gianni Amisano, Francesco Menoncin and Enrico Minelli, all at the Dept. of Economics of the University of Brescia.
The aim is to start a series of seminars to promote exchange of ideas among people who do research in different fields but share an interest in the applications of general equilibrium concepts and models. Interesting applications arise in almost any field and we have decided to start from macro and finance.
We are more than happy to extend  the series and include other contributions, also at the cost of changing our (provisional) acronym!

The format of the meetings
Two-hour sessions with presentations that introduce to the basics of the relevant literature and present research projects in the area.
